World Wide Stationery Holdings Co. Ltd. operates with its headquarters in Hong Kong and runs a few factories in Mainland China and remote offices in around the world. It previously relied on ISP mail service but soon found that its fast-growing business operation could not tolerate the low-level service and the occasionally but disastrous system failures from its service provider.
The new messaging solution provided by Microwave allows the client to support its 150 users with its own hardware, software and networking equipment, completed with server clustering, firewall, anti-virus and anti-spam protections. The users can now enjoy Web access interface, shared calendar, and very importantly, zero downtime due to having more than one server in use. The client can now create and delete user accounts on its own. Their administrators can also monitor the network remotely and receive alerts sent to their BlackBerry in case of any problem.
The system has since successfully run for about a year. Microwave continues to provide on-going technical support and is carrying out other network upgrading services for the client.
